Share markets opened higher on Thursday with Sensex & Nifty beginning in the green ahead of the expiry of Future & Option contracts today. BSE Sensex traded higher by 0.05 points to 33,911.86, while the NSE Nifty-50 rose 7.05 points to 10,497.80 in the later morning hours. 

Shares of State bank of India, Sun Pharma, Tata Steel, Dr Reddy’s, Coal India, HDFC, HDFC Bank and Hindustan Unilever gained up to 1 percent while Yes Bank, Axis Bank, Hero MotoCorp, TCS, Bajaj Auto and Kotak Mahindra Bank lost up to 0.75%. 

The stock of RCom rose 19.86% to the day’s peak of Rs 34.4 on NSE while it rose 15.65% to the day’s high of Rs 33.24 on BSE. 

Metal stock rise on NSE, the Nifty Metal Index rose 1 percent in early trade tracking higher global commodity prices. Global copper prices rose overnight to their maximum levels in 3 years following strong import numbers from China. Shares of Hindustan Copper Limited rose over 5 percent.

Monday Sensex Nifty down side, Top Stocks Trading News:

The BSE Sensex fell 16.14 points to 33,326 levels while the NSE Nifty 50 edged down 11.20 points to 10,272.40 Shares of Maruti Suzuki, NTPC, L&T, ONGC, ITC, and Adani Ports gained up to 1.6% in the morning hours while ICICI Bank, Cipla, Infosys and Tata Steel lost up to 1.2% on BSE Sensex. Stocks of Cadila Healthcare Ltd rose 1.4% to Rs. 452.50 after the company announced that it got US Food & Drug Administration’s final nod for Ethacrynate sodium. 

Stocks Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd rose 3% to Rs. 65.50 after Morgan Stanley bought 29.18 lakh shares or 0.7% equity stake at Rs. 64.26 each on Friday. Stocks of Wipro Ltd is on watch out as the company starts its buyback of shares from Nov 29, 2017 to Dec 13, 2017. Logistics stocks will be in limelight on the Exchanges after the finance ministry has decided to give infrastructure status to the logistic sector.

Sensex up 400 Pts on Moddy's , Stock to Watch out today 17 November 2017


Indian stock markets have opened the day on a strong note on Friday on positive global cues. The BSE Sensex surged 377.48 points to 33,483.30, while the NSE Nifty50 gained 117.75 points to 10,332.50 at 10:45 hours. The markets are risen higher by the banking stocks, which rose by 1.7% on back of Moody’s report on upgrade of Indian Govt bond rating. Punjab National Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, State Bank of India were gaining in the morning hours. 

Bank of Baroda: BoB said the Finance Committee of the board will meet next week to consider approving its proposal to raise Rs. 6,000 crore via Qualified Institutional placement or rights issue. 

Bharti Airtel: Fair trade regulator Competition Commission of India has approved Bharti Airtel’s deal to take over the loss-making consumer mobile business of the Tata Group. 

Among the companies which are scheduled to report their quarterly earnings today include JMT Auto, Kalyani Forge, Sadbhav Infra, S Chand & Company Ltd, Mayur Uniquoters.

Sensex opens below 33,000, Stock Trading news and Calls on 15 November 2017:

The key benchmark indices extended losses with Sensex lost 125 points to hit the day’s low of 32,816 levels while the NSE Nifty dropped 44 points to mark a day’s low of 10,142.55 at 10.45 hours on Wednesday.

Sun Pharma was the biggest loser on Sensex after the company reported a decline of 59.19% in the consolidated net profit to Rs 912.12 cr for the quarter ended on 30 Sept 2017 YoY basis.

NBCC (India)’s consolidated net profit rose 31.33% to Rs. 81.24 Cr on 12.07% fall in net sales to Rs. 1,319.25 Cr in Q2 Sept 2017 YoY. The major companies which are lined up to announce their Q2 earnings are New India Assurance Company, CARE Ratings, Golden Tobacco, TD Power Systems, Digjam, Empee Distilleries, Automotive Axles, HMT and Universal Cables, among others.

Road & highway stocks will be watched out today as the govt has approved the Rs 6.92-lakh-Cr, 5-year roads programme, which includes the Bharatmala project, intends to to generate 142 million mandays of work. 

Banking stocks will be in focus as govt has approved Rs 2.11 lakh crore PSU Banks’ recapitalisation plan for a 2- year period. Infosys Ltd has posted a 3% increase in net profit to Rs 3,726 crore in the July-Sept quarter, compared to Rs 3,606 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. 

Lupin Limited receives USFDA approval for generic Lodosyn tablets used for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Kaya Limited to provide bank guarantee for an amount of USD 4 million to Kaya DMCC.  

Yes Bank– RBI has also imposed Rs. 6.00 crore fine on Yes Bank for its non-compliance of RBI regulation on Income Recognition Asset Classification (IRAC). 

IDFC Bank: Reserve Bank of India imposed Rs 2.00 crore penalty on IDFC Bank because of non-adherence with certain directions regarding sanction and renewal of loans and advances. 

Ambuja cements standalone revenue for the Q2 FY18 came in at Rs. 5,376 crore, registering 5% year on year increase.

The benchmark BSE Sensex opened higher on Tuesday by 142 points to 32,648.77, while the NSE Nifty gained 46.50 points to 10,231.35 at 10.35 am. The Indian rupee rose marginally against the USD. Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd (IBHFL) consolidated net profit rose 25.82 percent to Rs 861.06 crore on 16.26 percent growth in total revenue to Rs 3,342.48 crore in Q2 Sept on Y-O-Y. Further, the company has approved the proposal of issuing secured and unsecured NCDs, upto Rs 25000 crore and Rs 3000 crore, on PP basis. It has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 9.00 / share for fiscal 2018.  
Infosys Ltd, Asian Paints, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Bank, Ambuja Cements, Zee Entertainment and ABB India Ltd will announce July-Sept 2017 quarterly results today, 24 October 2017 and their stocks are expected to without today. 

Reliance Communications (RCom) has announced that it has received the DoT approval for the demerger of the wireless business of SSTL (Sistema Shyam Tele-services) into RCom. With this development, the later will acquire 2 million customers approx, and additional annual revenues of about Rs 700 crore. 

Cochin Shipyard stocks will be watched out as the Ministry of Shipping, Govt of India had approved formation of JV Company between Cochin Shipyard and Hooghly Dock & Port Engineers, aiming for modernisation of shipbuilding infrastructure setup.

11 Oct Stock Market News, Nifty above 10,050, Sensex extends up


Indian Shares opened on Wednesday, on positive note. Sensex opened at 31,975, and later crossed to 32,000-mark tracking positive domestic cues such as the GST regime and positive earnings expectations. Nifty also opened above 10,000 levels in the later morning hours. Rise in the Sensex was particularly boosted by Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries and Mahindra and Mahindra which rose by more than 1 percent each. 

Maruti Suzuki, Coal India, Lupin and Kotak Mahindra bank were fallen by more than 0.5 percent each. The Nifty advanced stocks includes Bharti Airtel, GAIL India and Reliance leading the gains, above 2% each. 16 stocks registered declines with Indiabulls Housing Finance, Maruti Suzuki and Lupin losing more than 0.7% on the Nifty, in the morning hours. Dena Bank shares surged above 3% to Rs 31.50 after the bank announced that it had launched a qualified institutional placement of shares to raise up to Rs 1,800 crore from institutional investors. 

The rupee opened higher at 65.24 per USD. The dollar index was trading at 93.32, up 0.03% from its last close of 93.29.

Friday, 6 October, 2017, with the Nifty50 settling above its crucial 9,950 mark, buoyed by a jump in Tata Steel on its strong quarterly production numbers, while investors stayed cautious as Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council meeting went underway.  Market gained in three out of four sessions in truncated trading week. In the week ended Friday, markets were on a hot streak as all the major indices shimmered.

Nifty closed up 0.92%, posting maximum gains since August 14, 2017. Nifty futures contract carried on to include fresh open interest to the tune of Rs.3.9 lakh shares, mainly long positions.
Government data unveiled on Tuesday, 3 October 2017 indicating that India’s yearly infrastructure output rose 4.9% in August compared with a revised 2.6% Y-O-Y growth in July. India volatility index closed approximately 5% lower.  
On Wednesday, 4 October 2017, RBI kept the policy repo-rate under the liquidity adjustment facility unchanged at 6% based on an assessment of the current macro-economic situation at its meeting. In effect, the rev-repo-rate under liquidity adjustment facility (L.A.F) remains at 5.75 per cent, and the marginal standing facility (M.S.F) rate and the bank rate remains at 6.25 per cent.

3 Oct- Stock Watch: Stocks of Auto companies will be in focus today


These Auto stocks will be in focus rally today The country’s largest auto company Maruti Suzuki India reported 9.3% growth in total sales at 1,63,071 units in Sept. 

Similarly, Hero MotoCorp, the largest 2-wheeler maker has reportedly sold over a million units in the festive season so far, while Bajaj Auto reported 14% increase in total sales at 4,28,752 units in Sept. 

Eicher Motors: Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors reported a 22% growth in sales at 70,431 units in Sept. 

Further, the state-run Energy Efficiency Services Tata Motors has announced that it will procure 10,000 electric cars from Tata Motors, valued at around Rs 1,120 crore. The company reported a 25% increase in domestic sales at 53,965 units in Sept month.

Weekly Update- Indian stocks logged strong gains in the week ended Friday, 15 Sept 2017 led by gains in pharma and auto stocks. The BSE Small-Cap and BSE Mid-Cap indices outperformed the Sensex during the week. While the BSE MidCap advanced 217.99 points or 1.38% to settle at 15,972.74, the SmallCap index gained 362.56 pts or 2.22% to settle at 16,687.76.
In the week ended the Sensex rose 585.09 pts or 1.85 percent to settle at 32,272.61. The NSE Nifty index rose 150.60 points or 1.52 percent to settle at 10,085.40.
All through the previous five days, the Sensex had gained 524.44 points on solid global cues on receding concerns on North Korea and sustained buying by domestic investors.
On the macro front, the yearly rate of inflation, based on monthly WPI, figured provisionally at 3.24% for August 2017, corresponding to 1.88% in July 2017 and 1.09% in August 2016, as per data which was announced on Friday, 14 Sept 2017.

Gold strengthens Rs 31,000 level on demand push, MCX Commodity Tips:

Price of Gold today took jump from a positive trend overseas by surging Rs 650 per 10 grams to reach Rs 31,000 level, supported by fresh local buying, whereas silver slipped sharply by Rs 350 to Rs 41,500 per kg, on account of softening demand by industrial units and coin makers. 

Globally, gold rose by 0.08% to USD 1323.60 per ounce after hitting a 2-week low of USD 1,318.96. Silver also edged up 0.03% to USD 17.75 per ounce in Singapore. In New Delhi, gold of 99.9% purity surged Rs 650 to Rs 31,000 and 99.5% purity surged Rs 30,850 per 10 grams. Gold had lost Rs 650 in the last two days. 

However, Sovereign price carried on to be traded at the previous level of Rs 24,700 per piece of 8 grams. But silver ready dropped Rs 350 to Rs 41,500/kg and weekly-based delivery cracked below the 41,000 mark by slipping Rs 370 to Rs 40,930 per kg.

Stock Market Remain Closed For Ram Navami- 4 April

On Account of Ram Navami, Indian Stock markets, including FOREX and commodity markets will remain closed today, 4 April 2017. On Monday, 3 April 2017, the benchmark indices modest gains of the week, by Sensex rising 289.72 points to settle at 29,910.22. The Nifty index also rose 64.10 points to settle at 9,237.85. 

Asian share markets were down in early trade while the U.S stock indices closed in the red note after auto manufacturers announced weak sales numbers for the month of March. 

However, in this week markets will be on watchful for the Fed Reserve minutes from the March meeting planned to release on April 5.

3 March (Monday) Nifty opens fresh record high, Sensex above 140 points

The benchmark indices on Monday edged higher in early trade tracking positive Asian peers. At 10.15 am, the BSE Sensex was up 146.73 points or 0.50% at 29,767.23. The Nifty-50 index was up 34.35 points or 0.38% at 9,208.20. In the broader market, the BSE Midcap and the S&P BSE Smallcap indices added 0.4% and 0.5%, respectively. 

All sectoral indices have opened the day in positive note, except reality stocks. The automobiles sector and banking, and oil & gas sector leading the pack of gainers. The rupee is trading at 64.84 to the US Dollar. 

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) extended gains to touch its fresh 52-week high of Rs 1,380 on the BSE after its telecom venture Reliance Jio extended prime membership for users by 15 days. 

In the economic front, the GST Council on Friday cleared rules on the 5 aspects of the new indirect tax rules and tentatively endorsed four sets of norms.

24 March Friday Sensex extends gains, Nifty reclaims 9,100


The benchmark indices gained higher in early trade on positive Asian stocks. At 10.15 am, the BSE Sensex, was up 146.91 points or 0.50% at 29,479.07, while the NSE Nifty index was up 38.80 points or 0.43% at 9,125.10. In the broader market, the BSE Midcap and the S&P BSE Smallcap added 0.3% and 0.6%, respectively. 

Investors also struggled with mixed economic data. Filings for unemployment gains rose to a 7-week high, while purchases of new homes improved in February to a 7-month high. 

GST bill is scheduled to be tabled in the Lok Sabha today. The Union Cabinet on Monday gave its permission to four legislations of the much-awaited GST Bill namely the Central, State, Union Territory & Integrated GST, along with the Compensation Bill. 

Asian share markets and S&P 500 futures edged higher as investors dipped a toe back into risk trades after a week of wild swings in sentiment.

Sensex, Flat ahead of Fed Result, Nifty hits 9100, Stock Investment Advisory

Indian share markets have opened the trading day, Wednesday, on flat note ahead of outcome of the Federal Reserve policy meeting which concludes later in the day. At 10:15 am, the BSE Sensex was trading at 29,498, up 55.80 points, while the broader Nifty50 was ruling at 9,103,95, up 16.95 points. The BSE Mid Cap index opened flat while BSE Small Cap index both have opened the day up by 0.2%.

Asian stocks edged lower as investors took profits before a US central bank policy meeting that could hint how much monetary tightening to expect during the remaining of the year, with an immediate rate increase fully priced in by markets.

IT stocks TCS and Infosys were the top losers on both the indices, while Adani Ports, Reliance, Idea Cellular and Bank of Baroda were the top gainers on both the indices.

17 Feb Sensex open flat,Nifty over 8,800,stock market option trading tips

Key benchmark indices surged in early trade Friday despite mixed Asian cues. At 10.10 am, the BSE Sensex opened higher by 189 points at 28490.43, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 46.25 points at the 8824.25 mark. In the broader market, both BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap gained 0.4% each. 

On Thursday, FPIs sold shares worth a net Rs 215.69 crore, while Domestic institutional investors bought shares worth a net Rs 846.11 crore, as per BSE data. Market cap of HDFC exceeded that of Reliance post the announcement. Nifty Bank also crossed record high of 21,042 led by rally in banks. Mahindra & Mahindra rose 0.12% after the company declared that it has introduced seven new products under its Supro platform. 

HDFC, Axis Bank and Sun Pharma were the top gainers on BSE Sensex while Infosys, HeroMoto Corp, ITC and Bajaj Auto were the biggest laggards.

16 Feb Sensex, Nifty pares gain, Elite Investment Advisory Services

Stock markets in India have opened the trading day, Thursday, on higher note amid mixed Asian cues.  At 10.45 am, The BSE Sensex is trading higher by 30.24 points at 28185 while the NSE Nifty is trading higher by 13 points at 8737. In the broader market, the BSE Mid Cap index and BSE Small Cap index both have opened the day up by 0.1% and 0.2% respectively. 

TCS gained 1.7 percent as it says the board of directors will consider buyback of shares on February 20. The cabinet has sanctioned the merger of SBI's associates with the parent, State bank of India (SBI).  

This merger will be a major game changer, as SBI will emerge having 1/4 of the market share in the Indian banking industry.  SBI is trading at Rs 272.50 per share, up by Rs 3.55 per share or 1.32%. The stock touched high of Rs. 277 per share, up by Rs 8.05 share apiece or 2.99%.
