Stock Tips- Best Stock News for the day 24 October, 2017, Option Trading Tips


The benchmark BSE Sensex opened higher on Tuesday by 142 points to 32,648.77, while the NSE Nifty gained 46.50 points to 10,231.35 at 10.35 am. The Indian rupee rose marginally against the USD. The shares of ONGC, HUL, and NTPC rose, while the shares of Mahindra & Mahindra and Sun Pharma fell during the day. 

Major stock news today: 
Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd (IBHFL) consolidated net profit rose 25.82 percent to Rs 861.06 crore on 16.26 percent growth in total revenue to Rs 3,342.48 crore in Q2 Sept on Y-O-Y. Further, the company has approved the proposal of issuing secured and unsecured NCDs, upto Rs 25000 crore and Rs 3000 crore, on PP basis. It has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 9.00 / share for fiscal 2018.  
Infosys Ltd, Asian Paints, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Bank, Ambuja Cements, Zee Entertainment and ABB India Ltd will announce July-Sept 2017 quarterly results today, 24 October 2017 and their stocks are expected to without today. 

Reliance Communications (RCom) has announced that it has received the DoT approval for the demerger of the wireless business of SSTL (Sistema Shyam Tele-services) into RCom. With this development, the later will acquire 2 million customers approx, and additional annual revenues of about Rs 700 crore. 

Cochin Shipyard stocks will be watched out as the Ministry of Shipping, Govt of India had approved formation of JV Company between Cochin Shipyard and Hooghly Dock & Port Engineers, aiming for modernisation of shipbuilding infrastructure setup.

The BSE Sensex is trading at 31,264 levels up by 104 points, while Nifty is trading at 9,756 levels up by 20 points.

Stock in News today: State-owned electric utilities major. Power Grid Coprn of India Ltd announced that it started commercial operations of Pole-II of the Champa-Kurukshetra HVDC Terminal in Chhattisgarh from 16 Sept, 2017. All assets under the WR-NR HVDC r for IPP projects in Chhattisgarh have been commissioned.

Reliance Industries (RIL) has said that its telecom unit, Reliance Jio and Roy Kapur Films (RKF), tied up wherein original digital video content for the Jio platform will be, developed, commissioned and creatively produced by Roy Kapur Films.
GE Power India has announced, that it has bagged an order worth Rs 328 crore from Doosan Power India, for supplying 4 units of 660 MW electrostatic precipitation (ESP) for the super critical power projects of U.P Government.
APL Apollo Tubes has entered into a JV with Singapore-based One-to-One Holdings, for manufacturing of in-line galvanised tubes. The announcement was made on 27 Sept 2017.

The key benchmark indices extend losses in opening trade on Tuesday on global uncertainties.  Market made a passive start on Tuesday, in line with a slow Asian opening, as North Korea tensions made investors cautious. FMCG, banking and PSU banking were in the red, losing by up to 0.32 percent. The Indian rupee weakened by 18 paise 65.28 against the Us dollar in early trade.

Following are a few important stocks to watch out for on Tuesday:
Shares of Godrej Industries in focus as Godrej Agrovet sets IPO price band between Rs.450 to 460 share apiece.
GAIL India reportedly plans to set up petro-chemical complex in Andhra Pradesh, while Aditya Birla Capital gets in-principle approval from RBI to establish an ARC.
HPCL shares is in limelight as  ONGC will acquire the govt’s 51.11% stake in HPCL via a bulk or block deal in November or December at the current market price.
Indian Oil Corp has cleared Rs 27,000 crore refinery of its Chennai Petroleum unit, while Chennai Petroleum is going to establish new 9 million metric tonnes per year, refinery at Nagapattinam.

Nifty holds above 8,800, Sensex up 8 points, Elite Investment Advisory

Indian stock markets have opened the trading Monday on a flat note tracking mixed trend seen in Asian markets. At 10:15 am, the BSE Sensex was trading at 28,477, up 8.38 points, while the broader Nifty50 was ruling at 8,824, up 3 points. 

The BSE Mid-Cap index was currently up 0.42%, while the BSE Small-Cap index was currently up 0.63%. The market breadth, showing the overall health of the market, was strong. On the BSE, 754 shares rose, 366 shares fell and a total of 68 shares were unchanged. 

In the overseas, most Asian stocks were trading with small gains since investors awaited fresh cues. Meanwhile, US markets remain closed today, 20 February 2017 in observance of the Presidents Day.
