Sensex open higher, nifty scales 11,148 HDFC, Maruti Suzuki, Reliance rally:

The first the Budget Session of Parliament is set to start today, January 29, and will run until February 9. Shares HDFC and Tech Mahindra will be closely watched ahead of their respective Q3 results which are expected to announce later today.

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services, Maruti Suzuki, Larsen & Toubro, HDFC, HDFC Bank, and Infosys were lifting Sensex and Nifty to hit record highs levels, while shares of Bharti Airtel, ONGC and Dr. Reddy are declined.

Shares of Avenue Supermarkets rose 5% after the company on Friday posted a 65.77% jump in its net profit.

L&T crossed Rs. 2 trillion market capitalization first time after its shares zoomed over 13% so far this year.

5 Dec Tuesday Sensex, Nifty slip in early trade; RCom tanks 7%:

The benchmark indices Sensex & Nifty opened moderately lower on Tuesday as most of the Asian shares slipped in the early morning led by the falls in I.T stocks.

Shares Reliance Communications (RCom) slipped 6.93 percent to hit the day’s low of Rs 10.74 while Reliance Naval dipped 4.22 percent to day’s low of Rs 34. The Reserve Bank of India’s two-day monetary policy review starts today and the decision will be released by tomorrow. The RBI’s monetary policy committee is expected to keep the policy repo-rate unchanged in the upcoming monetary policy review owing to various factors.

Morning Update- Sensex and Nifty opened marginally higher on Tuesday following an upsurge in the US markets. At 10.25 a.m., the BSE index Sensex was trading up 129 points at 33,488 levels and the NSE index 50 Nifty was up 36.95 points at 10,335.70.

Reliance Communications (RCom) has announced that it has received the DoT approval for the demerger of the wireless business of SSTL (Sistema Shyam Tele-services) into RCom. With this development, the later will acquire 2 million customers approx, and additional annual revenues of about Rs 700 crore. 

Cochin Shipyard stocks will be watched out as the Ministry of Shipping, Govt of India had approved formation of JV Company between Cochin Shipyard and Hooghly Dock & Port Engineers, aiming for modernisation of shipbuilding infrastructure setup.

3 Oct- Stock Watch: Stocks of Auto companies will be in focus today


These Auto stocks will be in focus rally today The country’s largest auto company Maruti Suzuki India reported 9.3% growth in total sales at 1,63,071 units in Sept. 

Similarly, Hero MotoCorp, the largest 2-wheeler maker has reportedly sold over a million units in the festive season so far, while Bajaj Auto reported 14% increase in total sales at 4,28,752 units in Sept. 

Eicher Motors: Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors reported a 22% growth in sales at 70,431 units in Sept. 

Further, the state-run Energy Efficiency Services Tata Motors has announced that it will procure 10,000 electric cars from Tata Motors, valued at around Rs 1,120 crore. The company reported a 25% increase in domestic sales at 53,965 units in Sept month.

PHARMA STOCKS PLUNGE; DIVI’S LAB CRACKS 6%

Majority of the pharma stocks were trading in the negative terrain in Wednesday’s morning trade, reflecting the subdued market sentiment. Among the pharma losers, Divi’s Laboratories cracked 6 per cent. Sun Pharmaceutical Industries cracked 2.64%, Cadila Healthcare down 1.98%, Dr. Reddy’s Lab slipped 1.18%, Cipla down 0.97%, GlaxoSmithKline down 0.96%, Lupin down 0.78% and Aurobindo Pharma down 0.70% were the other top losers. Besides pharma, metal index also down over 1%. Metal stock MOIL down over % on NSE, whereas Phoenix Mills gained over 2%, realty and IT stocks were holding up.

Indian stock markets opened positive with a fresh spell of buying in bank stocks, realty stocks, pharma and IT stocks.  Shares of Infosys Ltd, DLF Ltd, Bank of Baroda, PNB and SBI were the most active stocks in terms of volume on NSE in Wednesday's morning trade. Metals stocks were also in the league, such as Hindalco Industries, Vedanta, Ashok Leyland, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank JSW Steel and IOC. 

DLF Ltd rose 3% to Rs. 183 after its proposal of selling compulsorily convertible preference shares to GIC. Balaji Tele-films Ltd rose 3% to Rs. 158.15 after the company’s approval of allotment of 2.52 crore shares to Reliance Industries for a total consideration of Rs. 413.28 crore.

03 Aug Sensex, Nifty open Lower, Stock Option Trading Tips

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened on lower note on Thursday morning hours against the closing of previous session. At 10.15 am, the BSE Sensex was trading lower by 160.69 points, or 0.49%, to 32,316.05, while the Nifty-50 falls 46.85 points, or 0.46%, to 10,034.65 Asian rupees were trading on lower note. Bond yields and its prices move in reverse mode. The Indian rupee was opened high versus the US dollar. 

The shares of TCS, Lupin and Cipla rose, while the shares of Kotak Bank and Asian Paint declined. There are about 70 companies scheduled to announce their quarterly earnings today which includes Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), PNB Housing, Jindal Saw, Ramco Cements, Titan and VIP Industries.

Sensex flat, Nifty turns negative after registering a high record

The key indices pared gains to turn flat after BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty crossed fresh record high before the RBI meet result due later today.  At 10.35 am, the Sensex, rose up 14.03 points or 0.04% at 32,589.20, while the Nifty50 down 7.15 points at 10,107.50. Markets expect the RBI to cut interest rates at least by 25 base point to 6 percent after inflation slumped to a record low of 1.54%. The market will be on watch whether the central bank will give indication to ease more.

Fertilizers companies’ shares were in limelight, rising up to 15 percent on BSE in intraday trade today. Nagarjuna Fertilisers, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizer, Deepak Fertilizers, and Petrochemicals Corporation were increased more than 4 percent each.

 The RBI monetary policy meeting is scheduled at 2.30 PM today, 2 August 2017. The reverse repo rate under the LAF keep at 6%, and the marginal standing facility (MSF) rate and the Bank Rate at 6.5%.

Live Market- Sensex slipped 70 points, Nifty below 9,500, Stock Option Tips

Live Market- The BSE Sensex down 52.72 points or 0.17% at 30905.53, it was touched a high of 31,000.48 and touch a low of 30,876.25. The NSE Nifty Index decline 8.20 points or 0.09% at 9503.20, it was touched a high of 9,522.50 and touch a low of 9,479.80. 

BSE Sectorial indices led by consumer durables, FMCG, capital goods, and healthcare stocks were down trends, falling by up to 8.7 percent. 

Global markets Hong Kong's was declined 0.58 percent while Shanghai lower 0.13 percent in early trade today. Japan Nikkei fall in 0.29 percent. 

Vijaya Bank, OBC, Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, Escorts, Berger Paints, Bajaj Finance, DHFL and LIC Housing fell 1-2 percent whereas Jaiprakash Associates, Jaypee Infra, Adani Enterprises, Videocon Industries, Fortis Healthcare and Dish TV gained 1-15 percent.

31 May Wednesday Sensex Nifty trade near the flat line, Elite Investment Advisory

Key benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty were trading near the flat line despite initial volatility in early trade. At 10.15 am, BSE Sensex was trading down 5.03 points at 31,154.37, while the Nifty 50 index was down 4.25 points at 9,620.30. In the broader market, the BSE Mid-cap gained 0.65%, while the BSE Small-cap rose 0.77%. 

GAIL India, Lupin Ltd and Maruti Suzuki gained more than 1% whereas Infosys Ltd, HDFC, TCS, ITC and ONGC shed the most of the index. 

The monsoon rain falls hitting the southern parts of India kept the sentiment upbeat, while the Street looked out for the March-quarter GDP numbers, to be declared later today. 

The govt will declare the GDP for the Q4 later in today. In the third quarter, the GDP had grown slightly lower, at 7 percent , down from 7.4 percent in Q2..
