07 March Sensex opens flat on global cues, Free stock tips India

Benchmark indices opened flat in early trade following global cues. At 10.15 am, the S&P BSE Sensex, was down 35.14 points or 0.12% at 29,013.05. The Nifty50 index was also down 14.55 points or 0.16% at 8,948.90. The broader market was trading flat with BSE Midcap gained 0.22% and BSE Smallcap up 0.1%. GST Council's approval to CGST and IGST laws and strong foreign inflows also boosted sentiment. 

RIL, NTPC, PowerGrid, TCS, Coal India, Adani Ports, BHEL, Tech Mahindra, Tata Power and Eicher Motors were early gainers while Infosys, Tata Motors, Hero Motocorp, Hindalco, IndusInd Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra and Idea Cellular were under pressure. 

The IPO of Music Broadcast Ltd, was subscribed 51% on the first day of the offer today. Overseas, Asian stocks recorded a mixed trend despite weak closing on the Wall Street overnight.
